i would be missing osx. i hate win in that sense. maybe linux licenses could be

October 31, 2011 at 11:09 pmI used to run Lustre on Win XP and now I run FilmMaster on Win7. I couldn’t care less. Once I’m inside an app, it makes no difference what is it running on. Same goes for Resolve. Under Windows OS, computer can easily read pretty much any file format, from HFS+ To EXT3. Very handy. Obviously, for big facilities the inability to write standard scripts and not being able to use standard Unix terminal will be a big problem. But in the long run, I don’t see the sky falling…

as Jake said , during the grading experience it does not really matter at all ,
but everything around it …well OSX is way nicer and Smoother … copy data around , organizing folders , reinstalling the OS etc…i would Miss that a Lot…

I will keep the Mac for Office and online stuff, for for Grading I want power and not be limited in the way Apple does right now.A slice of color…
