Walter, thanks for the fast response. I tried several set ups, with different video playback modes in FCP. My Kona control panel has the buffer set to 720p50 and my current play back mode in FCP is AJA Kona 720p60. Already tried 720p50DVCPro HD and 720p25DVC 8bits Varicam and many others….

My guess is that your original quick time file is corrupted somehow. Can;t yo get antother one to replace it?

Never mind. Restored the project and then the reconnection window worked correct again.
Everything hunky dory as you americans say, isn’t it???

I bought it a couple of weeks ago. It is true HD (1900X1200) and it has a composite, a Y/C and and RGB video input (kinch). I connected it to my Kona to analog component output and that works OK. Picture quality is good, although I am not sure about it’s quality as a color correction monitor. It certainly is a much cheaper solution then buying an Apple 23 inch display with a Decklink Dual link

I just ordered the upgrade to FC Studio 2 but I also ordered the Adobe production Studio, so I’m anxious to know whether the IO HD will also work with Premiere Pro on a Mac Pro

Why?? You could selet the track with a function button, and then hit the ‘select clip’ button.

I just need one of these models to do the clicking for me while I sit back and mumble “click!” or something else

But wouldn’t it be nice if I could highlight a clip with one button, and then work with it after pushing the enter button?? Would make work much smoother

Well, when I’m doing a lot of things with my keyboard, it is sort of annoying that I have to go back to my mouse just for highlighting a clip
