July 17, 2007 at 6:45 pm in reply to: Again wondering where the new drivers are for Premiere ProThat’s funny! I got mine about a week ago. Always thought that delivery in the U.S. was far ahead of Europe. Anyways, thanks for the reactions; I’m sure there is a good explanation that we are still waiting for the drivers and what you said might very well be it.

In AE 7 it works OK. It does see the card and uses it for Open GL. In AE 8 it doesn’t recognize it. I guess I’ll have to wait for AE 8 to be ready.

I just tried. Didn’t work here. But I heard that this problem has been solved in FCS 2 which is in my new Intel Mac that I am going to use this week… So I hope that alle will be good soon…..

June 26, 2007 at 11:45 am in reply to: no real time output from Kona 2 in DVC Pro 720p50Walter, thanks for the fast response. I tried several set ups, with different video playback modes in FCP. My Kona control panel has the buffer set to 720p50 and my current play back mode in FCP is AJA Kona 720p60. Already tried 720p50DVCPro HD and 720p25DVC 8bits Varicam and many others….
