I’ve seen that post. But it doesn’t discuss the RAM memory you have to allocate to AE. As far as I understand

Might be an older version of AE. In AE 5 or 6 you could render in Windows Media on a Mac. In AE 7 this function was not included anymore

Strange thing is though that I used to be able to record audio this way. Why did they change that??

I have CS3 and FCS2. I was thinking about using Premiere Pro as editing device instead of Final Cut, mainly because I do a lot of After Effects stuff and I thought that PP would be a better combination with AE.
Turns out that my Kona card does not work properly with PP and there is no sign whatsoever as to when that is going to happen.

No problems here with my Kona LHe. Only thing: Kona does not work with Premiere Pro. Waiting for new drivers from AJA

Maybe I’m stupid, but if she works in FCP, why not copy all the files and the project straight to your computer? And then when you finalize the project turrn it into a 10 bits timeline?
