thanks. Sorry, I don’t read the ending stuff with all those pin to pin stuff – I have never made more than a coax cable. Anyway – I am returning my cable and going for a different one and I will let you know

the keyspan serial assistant recognizes it and I have set it up manually – maybe it is my cable that converts mini sub 8 to 9pin

Sorry I was kind of vague in the last post. Yes I have the settings right adn yes the deck is in remote. The error I am getting is no communication
