5.1.4 Stand ALone download for FCP
I read a few other posts on here regarding the 5.1.4 download.
I have been working off my laptop Macbook pro (intel) and just purchased a new MacPro HD Desktop, which I re-installed FCP and as you know 5.1 – will not open my movie files. I am working on a feature documentary and would sincerely appreciate anyone who can send me the dmg or zip- update- I am on my laptop now and cannot connect to the net yet on the desktop. You will receive special thanks in the film 😉 and a smile from afar.
I will then drop this on my server and add a link to the site- for the next one to have.

I also just re-installed 5.1 onto my newly rebuilt hard drive. I thought I could easily get it back to 5.1.4 as before, but am not finding the download on Apple’s website. It simply is not offered! Does anyone know if the upgrade is still available? I can’t open any existing project without it.

I never did find the download…ended up just betting FCP6! I have a love-hate relationship with Apple.
