I had learned something today… I was looking for that hint!… many thanks

  • Yes… all other can work. Expand the timeline to have more precise movements. A counter let you know the frames youre moving. You also can select V tool, hold ALT and move the audio with the mouse . Sometimes you have to lock any audio below the track. confusing?

Add Hollywood Effects & Burguer xsitions and it’s probably you won’t need any more. But anyway only you can do is shorten or enlarge the time.

I W’l like to see the differencies between this NLE in a chart. This way we could have a better understanding and make better decisions. Personally think Mac is world apart and too expensive.
What FC make different from PP or AVID…
So far I’m very satisfy with PP2

The footage is dv from a VX 2100. The player is a miniDV cam. I have a 3 HD; one for the OPerating system, other for assets (music, anim, etc) the third is for capture and rendering. Capture HD: WD 7200rpm, 8mb buffer.
Project setting? What kind of settings? I use the default. It works ok other times.
Does the video card have to be? Humm seems is little slow. Nvidia FX 5200, 128 memory…
But in my other editing Pc I have an nvidia GS 7300 PCI express 512ram a dual core 4200 Athlon, 1.5 ram, 3 hard discs and the same thing happen. PP2 get slugish from time to time.

You won’t regreat if you buy PP & Encore. I think the trial version won’t permit all funtions like burning… but not sure.
