I have a Sony F-717 still camera. I put the photos in a clear 8×10 photo frame and aim a standed soft light to the photo.(no flash just a bulb) The camera stand in tripod too. I make white balance, frame the photo to be taken and shoot.
In a minute I can take 13-15 photos.
Its very frustating to scan one by one or a group in a scanner; rename each scanning and then going to PS to crop each one and rename again…
I don’t have the patient! -

September 25, 2006 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro Projects into one DVD? Via Encore? There is several ways to accomplish this and you don’t need a calculator as long as you select “automatic”(by default)I had burned 2hrs.30 mins and the quality still good. (depends of the quality of the original)
One way is:
From PP export each TLine as .avi. Import this 3 clips into Encore and drag each Encore TL end action (properties selected) into the main menu. This way when a TL finish will return to main menu.
There are others steps to make this but maybe someone else could help you better.(Language barrier)
You have to know Encore (practice/experiment) to find out all of its capabilities. Its not difficult if understand the basic steps. -

September 25, 2006 at 8:32 pm in reply to: Adjusting playbackspeed in timeline NOT source videoRight clic the clip and choose the slow/fast motion best suit your needs. When in there, select one of the alternatives to keep the audio pitch.
If you have the audio apart as a narration, the rate stretch tool (Control A)will allow to “stretch/enlarge the clip to suit the audio lenght.
Remember to deselect (ungroup) the audio/video clip by holding (alt) and cliking the one you want to modify. -
Look at Effects tap >Video Effects> Time> Posterize Time. Defauld is 24.. but 12 to 15 works good.

September 14, 2006 at 1:06 am in reply to: Where to install extra transition effect plugins in Pro 2.0?I have already installed Hollywood Effects and Burguer transitions in EU sucesfully. Very convinience. (Burguer are free)
https://www.burgers-transition-site.de/downloads/transitions/index.htmlBe careful not all works in PP2. I thinks this ones will work: 1,6,10,16,17,18,19,21,22,23. If not PP2 won’t start. Go back and unistall one by one as I did!
