    Hello all,

I’m doing some re-editing on a project that has a lot of voice over combined with graphics. Some of the feedback that I’ve gotten has stated that it would be more effective if the narration was slightly slower.

Is there a way to adjust the playback speed in the timeline for these clips, keeping the pitch the same, for the affected audio and video channel. I’d like to avoid having to go back into the source clips to do it as that would add many, many hours to the endeavor.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have!

Right clic the clip and choose the slow/fast motion best suit your needs. When in there, select one of the alternatives to keep the audio pitch.

If you have the audio apart as a narration, the rate stretch tool (Control A)will allow to “stretch/enlarge the clip to suit the audio lenght.
Remember to deselect (ungroup) the audio/video clip by holding (alt) and cliking the one you want to modify.
