he can send ya the project and you can batch the bins.
he can also throw that media on a forewire drive and senbd it to ya. You can drag that into your OMFI folder(s) and be rockin from the get go.
FCP still offers better final image quality than MC so it may be worth the automatic duck step. -

I have worked on or owned a large majority of mixers out there. Ya just won’t find a quicker, easier, better solution than a good ole mackie. My 1604 offers everything I need without hidden routers to trip me up. I use mixers as a big IO only. It does this better than any mixer ont he market, imo.

I thought it was weird when they released symphony Nitris with so many things wrong with what they now are calling their Media Composer.
Thats the bottom line. They began by making one product and they did it better than anyone else. They saw big profits from expanding their line and then didn’t know when to stop. This resulted in canibalization and a huge drop in quality on all products developed by Avid. DS was always sound but then, they didn’t write that one, did they.
They have been on a downward spiral too long to recover now.

I found a fine green screen on ebay for less than 200 bucks. It’s polyester, totally portable and hanges quickly with just two C-stands.
You can do a quick search for inexpensive chroma key drops. -

I recienly discovered the banding created from refernce files revolves arounf what codec was used. the DV25 is what was causing the banding here. -

Have you seen used Nitris prices? As shops replacing their middle end gear with FCP setups decide to replace the high end suite as well, more and more Nitris systems become available to those of us who still want one at the price point it should have originally been.
In the waiting game between FCP bettering their media management or Avid bettering everything but their media management, a used Nitris seems to be the cat’s meow right now. -

This is the problem… not so much that they are dragging their feet on product (and they certainly are) but thet they mislead the people who wanna buy from em.I personally have never met anyone who was glad they spent money on adrenaline. I’d much rather have my 45k back so I can buy a sweet NLE.
