I want to get my project from an xpress pro to my media composer adrenaline… I had another editor send me his Avid MediaFiles folder to me and an omf file tweaked for automatic duck to import into final cut. But I can’t get the mxf files to work n FCP. So I’m going to just try and load the project into my Media Composer Adrenaline. The Project is SD but the footage comes from XDCAM HD, and HDV.

How should I have the other guy export his project and email it to me?

Or does anyone know how to get the video to work in FCP. He has the tapes so I can’t just redigitize the offline media. I have installed the Avid LT Codecs.

    thanx, dan.

he can send ya the project and you can batch the bins.
he can also throw that media on a forewire drive and senbd it to ya. You can drag that into your OMFI folder(s) and be rockin from the get go.
FCP still offers better final image quality than MC so it may be worth the automatic duck step.
