So I hope that AJA will have CS6 drivers for the KONA3, as I own two of them. I wasn’t planning on upgrading anytime soon. So far they’ve been great about updating the Kona3 at the same time they update the Kona3g.

Yeah. It doesn’t crash on every project. Just a couple a projects do it. Maybe PP doesn’t like a certain file. I also haven’t had luck with my audio guy being able to open the aaf file I’ve sent him from PP.

Just installed 10.7.4 on my C system and so far no problems. I’ve been playing with the Premiere Pro CS6 trial and it seems to be pretty snappy too.

HP z800 or soon to be released z820 is a good workstation.

I created my own FCP style keyboard shortcuts. There are equivalents to most all FCP keyboard shortcuts in AVID. You can map just about any key. I still use my FCP logic keyboard in Avid and I’m just as fast as I was in FCP.

I believe I have the latest firmware. It reads ‘2008/17/12’
When I went to go update it it said I already had the latest version.

I have a 2007, 8 Core 3GHZ machine with a Kona 3 and a ATI 5770 Graphics Card. I’m getting a 1 second delay from the time I press play in the timeline to when it actually starts playing in FCPX 10.0.3. I’m using the 10.2.X driver. The delay only happens with I have AV turned on. In an interesting note, My Avid Media Composer 6 works great with the 10.2.X and is very peppy and has no delays.
