  • Marius thanks for the info. Really helps

[Marius Dudu] “The Render Template I am using is: Sony AVC/MVC 1920×1080-30p.”

Try rendering to another template. It’s starting to sound you’ve got too low a bitrate. There’s a lot of maths going on with a Levels Correction.

Oh I meant to ask. Do you have another Media in your Project?

  • If your Preview is good I really doubt it’s the Levels FX. If it was, then we’d be swamped with similar issues from others, and we are not. Try rendering to an alternative Format to test. Plus we need more information on your Media and that Render Template used.

    [Santeri Hulkko] “Thank you!”

Yeah, you’re very welcome. Factory resets or a reinstall often cure much.

[Santeri Hulkko] “Recently I tried to import more clips to the project but Vegas won’t allow it. “

    And…

[Santeri Hulkko] “They still play perfectly fine in VLC and Media Player.”

Kinda point towards Vegas going sour. Any Windows updates? Many things could have happened in the interim. Try a reinstall of Vegas?

However, been using MP4 this morning. Anyway, MP4 is only a wrapper.

[Paul Belter] “has anybody any clue, what can be done to make that great function work with acceptable speed?”

Nope. I used it this morning. It’s like wading through congealed, frozen treacle.

  • [Vida Adrian-Olimpiu] “….is there any kind of software or anything that can detect in a video when the camera is moving or shaking?”

Do check out prodad mercalli motion analyzer. Their Graphical Analyzer is part of their Mercalli Motion Stabilisation Software. I regularly use it. I believe it’s what your after. Vida, see if you can get a Demo? Here you are! ????

    Some Thumbnail Therapy:

    https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/wrong-thumb-nails-in-project-media–109031/#ca672098

    https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/unprofessionally-hanging-while-importing-large-number-of-media–111977/#ca691821

One remedy is to SPLIT Media into more than one folder. If you read through the above you’ll note a figure of 255 being the uppermost. This could be banjaxing your Thumbnail reveals/workflows.

That’s great! What is your next like? I can’t tell much from the sample, except from some tiny artifices in the bottom right corner. Sorry…..

  • That’s great. Thank you. You’re going to need to get busy with VEGAS Scopes and Level Adjustments/Correction for DVD. Somewhere along the line your blacks have got crushed and/or your Preview isn’t correctly set to show you your output. Have you burnt a test DVD and watched it on TV?

Wrangling for renders and here, DVD, is a journey. ????
