    Hi!

I shot couple of hundred clips with my Sony A6300 last summer and I started editing them three months ago. Recently I tried to import more clips to the project but Vegas won’t allow it. It wont even play the clips that are already in the timeline.

I found other posts about similar problems but I haven’t found the solution to this. I have tried to install different Quicktime versions but I cant open my clips in any of them. They still play perfectly fine in VLC and Media Player.

All of the clips were shot at 4k 100mb/s and 1080p 100mb/s

[Santeri Hulkko] “Recently I tried to import more clips to the project but Vegas won’t allow it. “

    And…

[Santeri Hulkko] “They still play perfectly fine in VLC and Media Player.”

Kinda point towards Vegas going sour. Any Windows updates? Many things could have happened in the interim. Try a reinstall of Vegas?

However, been using MP4 this morning. Anyway, MP4 is only a wrapper.

Thank you! I was afraid to reinstall Vegas because of all the plugins and shit but now it works perfectly fine.

    [Santeri Hulkko] “Thank you!”

Yeah, you’re very welcome. Factory resets or a reinstall often cure much.
