  • [Jeff David] “Graham – I’ve been unable to burn the dvd. I’m stuck.”

Hi Jeff! As this Thread was primarily concerned with the options for utilising BitRate manipulation to achieve size reduction to fit onto one DVD might I suggest you start afresh with a new Thread on the topic of how to prepare a Video for burning to DVD.

From my experience on the COW there are plenty of volunteers willing to assist.

[George Dean] “HI Justin, it will help others offer a possible solution if you post more details about your system, your version, your project and the additional details available from the crash window.”

I agree with George, Project Settings and what you were rending and what FXs you had used.

  • [Kane Morse] “Does anyone have any tips?”

Hi Kane! Insert Velocity Envelope add a POINT at the very beginning and right click on Point and in the Drop Down Menu use Set to… and make it 500%.

    Done!

With the “facts” or my outcome? George, seriously, thanks for the History lesson. I really enjoyed scoping and then painting that sound experience.

June 19, 2019 at 7:28 pm in reply to: How to separate videos that are linked?

[Dimitrios Papadimitriou] “I’m not sure whats going on but they might be grouped somehow. “

Hi Dimitrios, that’s why I was wanting our chum to see if he could demonstrate some “grouped activity” whilst moving the last Event. Using this method would mean that he would see just what is attached where and probably how to just U and then G. The Ungroup method is a bit of a Nuclear option and may just create issues of rogue Events being ungrouped. It would be good to hear from him.

    My apologies.

OK, did you use the “Match” Icon?

You don’t appear to have applied those settings?

  • [Michael Hoogasian] ” this particular MJPEG file was created by guvcview in Linux.”

Hi Michael, I believe we are getting somewhere and now need more information:

1] Supply SCREENGRAB of your Project Settings.

2] Supply MediaInfo of that MJPEG.

MediaInfo is a remarkable FREEBIE s/w that analyses your Media. Download MediaInfo from here .

In the meantime you could try setting Preview Quality to PREVIEW DRAFT. Vegas could be making Proxy files of that MJPEG.
