Thanks Theo. So I can’t do this from within the Search facility? If so, it should be.

  • Lee! Thank you.

Once I re-read the penultimate page of the Online Help, I was reminded that I needed to type “S” to bring up the search in Particle view (Alan?), I was good-to-go and search on “Dust Puff”. And yes lots to choose from and to alter.

    Cheers

It would appear you are doing everything correctly.

What is your initial FONT size?

So? “I typically render AVI DV widescreen, 23.976 w/pulldown. This particular video is not widescreen but all other settings are the same.” – Well, what is it? If it isn’t WS, then what is it?

When you right click on the SONY Text Properties what do you get under “Media”?

Try a different DVD media. If you get the same it is most likely the burning.

Mike asked you “how” old the burner was. What I’d NOW be asking is your estimate on how many BURNS – DVDs CDs & -RWs you have had through the burner.

    What burner is it?

Chances are you have the “Trimmer” Preview engaged. This was a feature added in VP8. Just go to Trimmer and click on the Preview Icon in Trimmer.

Inspired by this thread, in terms of “naming a font” I went and discovered this website that takes you through the process of identifying a Font from a series of dead easy questions!

Try it out. If you aren’t successful, at the very least it is really good fun!!

    OK . . .

You have my feedback, which you you say you DO and now you have a longer nicer descriptive version by Steve – thanks Steve – that is underlining what you and I agree you have to do. So what is it that you aren’t getting?

Can you supply a screenshot of what you have and perhaps a sample of what you want?

So, here we have 3 people, including yourself, agreeing as to what you need to do but that isn’t what you want. Interesting.

  • You want to make a selections of Events to Crossfade – move over each other – by using a script? Is that it? Well, as I have Excalibur I can utilize his “Gap/Overlap” script as part of Edward Troxel’s (jetdv) Excalibur package. Maybe this is only available within Excalibur, Jill? As to can it be modified for your requirements, I’d be calling the Author – in this case Edward T? Edward is very helpful. Try a free download of Excalbur too!

You would also be advised to download Johnny Rofrano’s UltimateS Pro 4, he – jr – provides much support on these boards. Johnny has a feature rich set of tools for Event fades and L and J cuts – it is just stacked with options.
