OK, my initial thought/s are to put a MASK with 4 Photo Windows on Track1 and then on tracks 2 > 5 have “Runs” of the photos. Job kinda done.

No.

So, you want a “graphical” representation ON your Timeline that will ALWAYS be in view? Yes? What I am offering you is NOT what this function is originally meant for, but try this:-

On the Toolbar Go to:-

1] View > Video Bus Track – Select

2] Insert MUTE Envelope

3] At the Program END apply a POINT and MUTE the Envelope by pulling it down.

Result?

A] What you can see in the Video Bus Track AFTER that Mute will be “greyed-out” – visually WARNING you you’ve reached the END of your Project.

PLUS

B] As you Roll your Tracks UP or DOWN that Video Bus and as you approach that MUTE, or here, your PROJECT END, it will ALWAYS be revealed.
