can’t help too much with your setup, but i can tell you that i went through a similar issue 2 weeks ago. I had to capture analog video and audio into the box. I ran the audio through my mixer, and out to my extreme 3d card. Prefs were set to analog audio…just like yours. Premiere set to capture from blackmagic, not dv or hdv. I could monitor the video coming into the box, but not the audio…so i assumed it wasn’t going in, but upon playback of my captured clip, it was there. I posted a question about this on this forum. (monitor audio) but got no responses. I don’t think Premiere will show us the audio as an input source…only playback from timeline.
You are saying you’ve tried to play back your capture, and there is nothing there? Maybe feed it a true video source as well (vhs or dvd…anything with an actual signal)

There are also programs out there that will add the time of day shoot timecode to the canon files. (the information is always there, its just a matter of making it legible to the edit programs.)
Once you have individual timecodes for clips, it will make it easier to relink. check out Grinder and QTChange.
Run the clips through one of these before you do anything else, and it is (almost) like laying to tape.

Check your folders permissions. If Avid senses it to me read only, it will have to create a new folder.

I would be tempted to simply take the opening frame of the shot in question, freeze it, and recreate the move from scratch, then rejoin the piece for the next shot.

We are also starting to look at Strawberry as an alternative to Unity.

Interestingly enough, i also created an aaf from a project i got off a tutorial group im in. It only had 1 sequence in it, and opened fine, so yes, it appears to have something to do with that drop down selector.

I have the same issue. “the selected CompositeMOB index is out of bound”
I can duplicate that first listed sequence in Premiere and the copy will open fine, but the original, the first one listed in Resolve won’t open. I’m assuming it is the first one listed based on creation date or something? In mine, it is not alphabetically “first”Glenn

You don’t actually “copy” the clip. How i’ve done it is razor the clip so it is now in two parts. Move one part up a layer. Then trim both parts back to their original lengths. Turn on screen comp mode on the upper clip.

Since i’m on a raid system, and my projects default to a different drive…If i create the project on the raid, will the captures then stay organized within that project folder on the raid?
