Is your source material 10bit? If not why edit in 32 bit. General consensus is work to match source.
Your 2600K processor will handle 8 bit more fluently. -
I to use a GoPro @ 2k7 and have no problems handling the video at 50P. The clip you uploaded was 2704×2028 (4:3) @29.97fps. Is your timeline set 4:3 or 16:9?
Put your clip on a matched timeline and had no problem with it. Then made 50 copies of that clip and put them on the time line. Struggled at preview set best/full but OK at ‘good/half’.

Resetting VP via Ctrl+Shift allowed programme to run normally. Maybe Windows updates upset matters.

September 6, 2018 at 11:47 am in reply to: DVD Architect 7 – can’t load a Blu-ray .m2v to burn. Any idea why?Long shot. DVDA 7 may not understand ac3pro audio. Sony Vegas 13 would output .ac3 pro, unavailable in Magix version of VP13.
Also did you use standard BD templates with Vegas to produce the files. Have had no problems with DVDA other than needing to install Microsoft .NET2 Framework. You can check if net2 is loaded control panel-.prog & features->turn windows features on/off. First item on list needs a tick if empty.Best of luck G

Why not convert batch files to avi using ffmpeg. Maybe convert 1 file & test then if OK batch convert the rest.
There are plenty of free convertors to download and the better ones allow a free trial. -
Maybe reset VP14 to default settings? Hold CTRL+Shift keys down whilst double clicking the VP icon to start the programme

March 12, 2018 at 12:37 pm in reply to: Sony Vegas 13 Pro crashes on Installing DirectX plug-ins WIndows 10I seem to recall that trying to install VP13 onto W10 I had problems with the installation. Initially I gave up on VP and loaded DVDA as I normally edit in Edius. DVDA loaded and installed some .net components. On trying to install VP13 again it went in smoothly. VP13 last Sony version.
I can understand your frustration.

Fair enough. If you look in the device manager you should see your camera. Check that it recognised. Not yellow highlight. If that is good to go try sceneanalyser. The files are capture to a directory and Vegas will accept those files. From time to time I used to have trouble capturing using VP. Likewise HDVsplit for HDV tapes.
Again best of luck G
