    Hi,

I have been using Vegas for 4 years and have been really disappointed with the render quality. The blacks are crushed upon render and footage looks muddy and low quality. I have changed all the settings and tried every trick in the book. Any idea if its Vegas or just me? When I render on Premier it is perfect quality. What’s going on?

    Hi Jack

Can you post a MediaInfo on your original file and a snapshot of your render settings.

    Cheers !

You probably have tried these tricks from the book, but for others to inspect a couple of related FAQ links
    here and here

    And a link to MediaInfo
Open your file with it, and switch it to text view (“View” > “Text”)

Is your source material 10bit? If not why edit in 32 bit. General consensus is work to match source.
Your 2600K processor will handle 8 bit more fluently.

I tried both 8 bit and 32 bit and 32 bit for me produced better results despite not being perfect:(
