    Tom,

How do I turn off Spotlight? I have a MacBook Pro 17″ with all the latest updates.

    Thanx,

I would start over with a clean format of the hardrive using zeros and make sure it is also journaled. Then install OSx. THEN do the software updates from the web. It needs to be updated. Then install FCS2 last without the extra content in a custom install.

    Try Google
    JES Deinterlacer

It’s a free app that easily takes a video file, determines the cadence and does a pulldown and then saves it as a new file for editing.

Too bad we have to hear the annoying click sound at a loud level from the teachers keyboard. Don’t the ;isten to their finished recordings before releasing the tutorials? I guess there is a price for something that syay it is free. 🙂

    Brendan,

I still get the same view in each viewer. It follows what the Keylight menu dictates. I think I just figured out another way. I can double click on the file in the AE Project window, it opens the original greenscreen footage in a new viewer. Then I can change the first AE comp viewer to show the Status view from Keylight and get the two views needed.

    David,

That is what I meant. Just the computer and monitor. Thanks for the other info as that does make sense. The client just wants a min. setup.

    Thanx,

    Dan,

Would ypu add the other gear in the room to this unit? Like the audio monitors, HDV VTR, Matro MXO, Wacom tablet, printer. Or just put the computer/monitors on it for a time period to save current work in progeress and then shut down?
