    I have Windows XP install the Asian fonts during installation (or install them later from the XP CD). Then I use Babelfih (free website)for English/Chinese translation. No other Chinese software is needed.

    Copy and paste from Bablefish into the Vegas text editor. It always works and I also have my wife and son (who are from fom Beijing) to verify. 🙂
