I did have some minor problems with the 10.3.8 update. Right now I’m cruising along fairly smoothly under 10.3.6. I am not going to upgrade to Tiger until I know that there are no major issues.

I had other problems with 10.3.9. I had some clips that went missing and had to reconnect them. Most of the clips did reconnect o.k., but two didn’t and I had to manualy select those two. Then Live Type would not completly launch even after reinstalling Panther. But now every thing is running smooth now that I’m running under OS 10.3.6. Is it just me or was the 10.3.9 update full of nasty bugs?

Same thing here, though the spinning beach ball occurs less and less. Last time I’m updating my OS for a while. Grrrrrr

Download Safari 1.2 and the Security Update 2005-004, that should solve any problems with the Safari issue. Other then that 10.3.9 seems to be stable.

Been having issues, too, with the 10.3.9 update. Any suggestions or ideas on what’s going on?

Will there be a new version of Live Type, or will it just be the current version? Anyways, I’m upgrading to FCP Studio next month. Can’t wait!

Don’t know about AE, but Combustion has vector paint.

You will need to export your clip into another program such as After Effects or Combustion. If you have Photoshop you could export your clip as a numbered sequence and import each frame seperately, but strongly recomend using the first option.

Is there any anti-virus software running on that machine?
