Where is that done in Premiere? in preferences? can’t find the option and can’t find it mentioned in the manual.

How do you disable it? You mean there is a way not to bring in new masters for a sequence one imports a project?

For some reason, in the Keyboard Shortcuts, if I choose:
– Go to Previous Edit Point: Up (It doesn’t work)
– Go to Previous Edit Point on Any Track: Up (It doesn’t work)
– Go to Previous Edit Point: Page Up (It works)
– Go to Previous Edit Point on Any Track: Page Up (It works) -
Not working for me.

Same issue here. I feel like there must be a way. Can’t be an oversight… in FCP, it was a combo of keystrokes that would map tracks…

I wish you could choose to transcode the whole clips rather than just handles…

Ha! looks like I got my answer. If I’m in the source, the audio track buttons work for the source and same for the sequence. By switching from source to sequence it maps the tracks just with the keyboard.

So I would like to map the audio from the source to the audio in the sequence without using my mouse (click and drag)…
For example, in FCP, you press AUDIO 1 then AUDIO 2 right after and it maps AUDIO 1 from the source to AUDIO 2 in the timeline.

Often, I need to link 3-1 because it’s synced audio. How do you do that in Command Palette?
Looking at it now but I only see the tracks, not mapping.

Even if the mixdowns are offline? One of my RAIDs corrupted tons of data so I had to reconnect to the original AMAs except for what I mixed down of course. Since I had to retranscode these interviews and the Mixdowns don’t recognize timecode (even though it shows) I figured I may as well bite the bullet and go with plan A, which is to combine all the slices of interviews in a sequence with Auto Sequence (you taught me that).
