How do you disable it? You mean there is a way not to bring in new masters for a sequence one imports a project?

Hi Frederic, hope you get along,
can’t remember exactly how PPr handles these options, but I think you should get along by choosing
“reconnect” in the FCP options when you import

you can easily edit the XML since it is text only file.
find / replace function in notepad or notepad++ will be a great way 🙂
