The plugin may have lost its registration information. That would explain the big X. Try re-entering your serial/unlock code.

You haven’t provided much information to help with a diagnosis.

What file format and/or codec is used by your video clips? How many seconds/frames do they take up in the timeline?

Use the Difference Key first, pre-compose, then use masks to get rid of what’s left.

If the entire banner is going to be used as a hyperlink, can’t that be done in the HTML code, similar to how you’d do it with a JPEG image?

Maybe I’m mistaken. I haven’t had much to do with SWF files.

[Ron Lindeboom] “Madonna, lastly, would be barred from the site on general principle, for using drum machines in her catalog. As a drummer myself, I have always joked that “Otto Matic” on the drums does not count as real music. So, a little-used clause that bans drum machines from the COW would be used.”

As a guitarist, a drum machine just doesn’t do it for me. A live drummer adds some of his own personality to the music. It’s the combined personalities of the members that gives a band it’s soul. So, let’s not just ban drum machines from the COW, but from life, in general.

“Quicktime Animation” is one of the better codecs to work with. It’s a lossless codec, which means no/minuscule loss of quality from subsequent renders. It’s not really suitable to use for your final output render, which would depend on your intended use for the finished product.
