    Hello!

    I have a small but very irritating problem.

    When using the Difference Matte Key effect in AE I try to use a mask to isolate the keying area. But the mask seems to affect the Difference Matte in the way that the mask borders stay in the composition, and displays the material underneath it.
    I have tried several ways of getting rid of these “mask borders” but nothing seems to help… Any ideas?

    I would be very greatful for any help with his…

    I’m not quite clear on the problem, but it sounds like pre-composing something somewhere might help (;

    If you can provide more detailed information as to what exactly is going wrong then hopefully I’ll get it through my thick skull as to what the issue is!

    Use the Difference Key first, pre-compose, then use masks to get rid of what’s left.
