    Hi Aaron,

i-m german too and i still use AE in English
evrything else doesn-t make sense! The “German”
names and places in the effect pallet drives
    you crazy – so – it-s a simply answer.

    thanx again Millenium,

yes, this is a great tool – but still 200 for the pro version!
and you still have to pick your colors – as i said – i would
prefer the idea of using simple expressions to change the final look.
    Maybe on next Xmas. 🙂

this is the oldest trick of all!
Move – Camera stops – change it – camera rolls on.
They did it two times – One with and one without their clothes.
OK – In this case the move is very tight – (and i wish
i was the DOP! 🙂 but it-s not more than this

December 30, 2006 at 3:47 pm in reply to: field render concerns…still

    Hi Rick,

welcome to the club of former 7.1 Users (ABVB right?)
it all depends of the codec you use and the (omf) digitize settings.

this is a german page of interpreting the avid codecs right.
if possible – use the Avid codecs to render in AE.
    Alternate the Animation codec.
    https://www.avidcutter.de/ac/AvidCutter.htm?unten/mitte/workflow/fieldorder.htm

    hope this helps.
    Happy new Year!

same Problem – after instaling the AVID codecs, my AE didn-t start anymore.
The AVID Codecs are (right now) – not UB Versions! IT DOESN-T WORK!
Avid is working on the latest Versions my dealer told me.
So – Render with Animation 🙁
