Chris… I made a new sequence. Dropped the clip in and selected keep existing settings. With that being said, that clip should conform to 23.976. So, do I render then do a copy and paste or cut and paste into my project sequence with the actual 23.976 footage? I actually have 3 or 4 29.976 clips that I would like to use.

    Best Regards!!

    Hi Chris…

I think I’ll get another 8gb of RAM to hold me over for a while, then I’m going to switch over to a PC at some point. I may never have any pennies 🙂

Hi Norman… I hear you! I’ve been using Final Cut for about 5 years. The iMac was fine in that case. If I didn’t need a couple new lenses I’d bite the bullet. I guess I’ll limp along for a while then get a PC.

Hi! thanks for the info, but I thought the graphics card on an iMac cannot be replaced because it is built into the motherboard?

Thanks Ann… I was there yesterday. The last thing I want to do now is buy a new computer. I have the Adobe Cloud now, switching from FC-7 to Premiere. I need a new camera lens 🙂 I’m going to double the RAM in my iMac and limp along for a while through the learning curve I guess.
