    Hi…

    I’m new to CS6.

1)There’s a Editing mode called DSLR for projects. Given I’m shooting with DSLR I’m guessing I should select that setting instead or 1920×1080?

2)I touched on this one last week, so it’s kind of a followup. I imported some DSLR footage shot at 30fps into a 24fps timebase project. When I look at the frame Rate for the footage in the project bin it reads 23.976fps. Does that mean it was converted when I imported it??

Those presets are for work styles and screen setup. Import your footage and drop a clip on the “Make a sequence icon” on the bottom of the project. It’ll match the clip for you.

Chris… I made a new sequence. Dropped the clip in and selected keep existing settings. With that being said, that clip should conform to 23.976. So, do I render then do a copy and paste or cut and paste into my project sequence with the actual 23.976 footage? I actually have 3 or 4 29.976 clips that I would like to use.

    Best Regards!!

[Frank Giardina] “Dropped the clip in and selected keep existing settings”

    No, wrong answer.
    Let APP match the settings.
You need to edit in a Sequence that matches your footage.

OK, I’ll drop bring it into the sequence with my 24fps clips and let APP do it’s thing.

    Thanks Chris
