    Hi Alex

The other way to do this is to add the Push transition to the overlap of your 2 clips.

    Step 1

    Step 2

You can play with the size of your black. I also noticed that the referenced clip had soft edges. Just use the Feather option but no more than an setting of 7.

    Cheers !

  • Hi Dhanen

3rd party codecs packs are notorious for creating havoc with NLE software. Uninstall and make sure that there are no remnants of those packs. If you must have them, install them on another computer

As Russ mentioned, can you play those clips with a ”regular” player ?

MediaInfo on your file(s) would help.

  • Hi Paul

    Have you tried FileProject Properties

Input the desired frame size and frame rate (it can also be 25.000 PAL)

Don’t forget to Apply before OK

I know that I still have a laptop somewhere with V10. As soon as I find it, I should be able to confirm this.
    I’m going on memory here….

    Cheers !

  • Hi Paul

I don’t have V 10 anymore but I do remember it can support frame sizes up to 4096×4096.

You should be able to set it in the Video tab in Project Properties

  • Hello Kyle

I suspect that your 4 sounds have frequencies that speakers on some phones can not reproduce thus the muffled sound. Bare in mind that although they have improved a lot, sound and picture wise, phones do not have the required speakers to reproduce the same range of frequencies as speakers can because of size constraint.

My solution would be to change the frequency of your punch sound effect until you come across one that will work.

    Cheers !

    Hi Chyna

I suspect it has something to do with the file format/frame rate.

Could you post a MediaInfo on your recorded file(s) ? It’s a free App. just Google it.

    Cheers !

  • Hi Josh

Different frame rates will do that. Try converting all of your files to the same format and frame rate. KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL FILES UNALTERED. Create new ones and rename them.

Try it and keep us posted.

    Hi Santeri

.MOV is only a container. (See this link for more technical info)

  • Hi Bob

Yup, Vegas does not like different frame rates, especially 23.5

Use something like Handbrake (it’s free) to convert all your clips to the same frame rate.

    Rendering should be a breeze.

    Cheers !
