Time line has video and audio. I can play it fine just as any other file. It’s only when I try to render that I get only audio options regardless if I just try to render the original file or the edited version. The only way I found so far is to open the file in Quicktime and save it as a .MOV file. Problem is that it I get a somewhat degraded file to start with. The main reason I upgraded to V12 was that I could open .MXF files directly in Vegas and not have to use my friends Avid suite.

Thx John ! Maybe this would help, the files I am trying to render are .MXF from a P2. When I try to render, the only options I get are for audio only. Any suggestions ?

What version are you using? Could you be rendering loop only?
