    Sounds promising.
Had not used expressions before. Need a bit more help if it could be explained in a quick couple of steps?

    Thnx!

  • Hi there, D
Interesting… What’s your system setup? Grfx support, Sata controller hosts etc?

  • OK. Just off the phone AJA tech support. Turns out the Receipt that was trashed still stays active until Trash is emptied. Install ran fine after the empty. Thanks AJA! As always great to be backed up by good support for your products.

Just a not to d2.7 users out there. Check with AJA before you update to 2.0 to make sure all is safe. I’m staying at 1.2 until the ghost is cleared.

  • As mentioned alreday, I have run the unistaller, and manually removed all receipts, prefs and extensions.
Any firmware update says: No Kona hardware installed. – I have reseated the card too. It does, however show up in Sys Profiler. So this is crazy. Anyone else with ideas beond the obvious out there?

OK. Quit pain solved: An iSight plugged into the front FW port. Removing it solved the quitting. Still wondering about that 4-4 thing, though? In system profiler the sub units look as follows:
    Io Unit:
    Unit Software Version: 0x20
    Unit Spec ID: 0xA27
    Io Unit:
    Unit Software Version: 0x22
    Unit Spec ID: 0xA27
    Io Unit:
    Unit Software Version: 0x11
    Unit Spec ID: 0xA27
    Io Unit:
    Unit Software Version: 0x24
    Unit Spec ID: 0xA27

Guess that implies the 22-27 version is in fact installed?

Same thing happened with me even after runnin the Uninstall. The only thing that got the V1.1.2 installer going again was finding the receipt file left by the previous V2 install and getting rid of it. (which Unistall did not do). Restarted and ran the 1.1.2 again. I’m up and running again, and will wait with the V2 experimentation until this project is out.

The AJA io v3 package caused the same problems. Had to restart in safemode and had to rescue it by unistalling and reinstalling the old package. So the only thing that seems to work right now is the Kona update – but not the included firmware update that’s in the package.
