OK. Solved. Seems like the culprit was the Wireframe / Detail render button on the filter. Cycling through that brought everything back. (I assumed that not seeing anything on the Zax Layer was due to a cam shift. But it wasn’t).

Yup. Comp Camera & Lights. Does that mean that I would have to redo all the cam stops, I guess so. Luckily this is just for a still and not a complete animation.
    Thnx.

Sounds yummy. Unfortunately all my slots are taken up. My Nvidia takes up the AGP+ 1 PCI slot. In the other 2 left over I have a Sonnet SATA controller for my Raid, and a Kona2 for my HD brdcast monitor. Seems like I’ll be going for 2x 20″s after all.

    What’s your setup look like?

Thanx, M. Almost had an excuse to blow $2300!
2x 20″ it is then. Unless using a 23″ and a 17″ would make a difference? (since the memory is not split 50/50?)

    OK. workflow problem.
Had a special setting for DVCPRO HD turned on that I forgot about. Needless to say . Render time is about half for SD. As is should be. The world is OK again… I think… Time for my pil.

OK. Got it. Helps if you move your out point too on the layer. Somehow this one got left behind when I extended the comp time.

    THNX it works!

Thanks. Got a similar expression as what I tried to come op with form the Eeprxssions Help file. Doesn’t work for some reason. So, for now I’m just manually copy & pasting time remap keyframes on the nested layer. That’s fool proof. Would be nice to be able to do it the more gracious expression way, though.
