Has Creative Cow implemented the search by forum feature yet that Glenn Payne asked about? I know the older format of the forums used to do this, not sure why that feature was removed.

I hope that Creative Cow will be adding this feature.

    Thanks.

September 11, 2022 at 7:41 pm in reply to: OLD PRO EMITTERS?

    Hello,

From what I have been told by one of the Tutorials, they have already included the Pro Emitters in the new version.

I think if you type in PE under the search bar, you will be able to find the previous particleillusion 3 version listed.

  • Try this older thread to see if the problem is with the Emitter. https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/pi-3043-crashing/

Hopefully you have a backup of this located under your library_backups folder of the pi3 install.

    PI 3.0.4.3 Crashing

  • <Joe>

I found this info under my pi3.0.4 program. Hopefully this helps.

When particleIllusion won’t start (or crashes at startup):

    1) Try the “reset default settings” in the Start – Programs – particleIllusion 3.0 – troubleshooting menu.

    If that doesn’t work:

    2) Try “run with software rendering” in the Start – Programs – particleIllusion 3.0 – troubleshooting menu.

    If that doesn’t work either,

    3) Restart your computer. (You’d be amazed how many times this fixes “strange” problems.)

If software rendering does work, then you need to get updated video drivers from your video card manufacturer’s website.

    Thanks,

    Francois

May 6, 2020 at 7:58 pm in reply to: Sony Vegas Pro Backpack error

    [Rich Sloan]

I was able to fix my Backpack error by installing (on-top of) my current installed Production Assistant 2.0. When I installed Production Assistant 2.0 it was from the original Sony CD. I believe mine was version 2.0.5 or something similar.

What I did to fix this was download the newest installer from VASST at https://vasstsoftware.com/download/
and installing version 2.0.11 of Production AssistantInstaller on top of my current install.

After installing, I started up Vegas Pro and the error went away.

Not sure this will help you but this fixed my issue. I restarted Vegas Pro several time to make sure that the Backpack error does not pop back up again.

Hopefully this helps if not, VASST answers support emails.

Thank you for doing that! I was not expecting you to perform that for a bit. I was just letting you know about them.

    Much appreciated!

Thank you for posting some of your Free Scripts and Extensions for Vegas!

There were just a few of them that I could not click on the “Download Vegas” options for:

    Insert Freeze Frame

    Invert Regions

    Event Remover

    Set Alpha

    Set Event Length

    Trim Frames

    Thanks again,

Thank You Satish for improving your well loved Frameserver 3.0 for 64bit! Just a side question, if some of us still use the Sony branded version of Vegas, will your program still work ?

    Thanks,
