I don’t know from the top of my head if that preset used expressions, but if it doesn’t,
You can hit the U-key to expose all keyframes, select the all and then Alt-drag to time-stretch the keyframes, so drag it to the right to make the animation slower.

import the sound and interpret footage -> there’s a “loop x times” function there.

  • It sounds like in your case, you could also solve it by setting the position-interpolation to linear.

After effects has an unsharp mask effect that works pretty much the same as the photoshop one,
but watch out for flickering on the tvs-creen if you use it.

depending on the complexity of the comp it can be a real pain.
Because when you selecty them all and then stretch them, their startpoints don’t shift to the correct time.

There might be a script on aenhancers.com

But here are some work-arounds that might work for you:

    pre-compose them and then time-stretch the pre-comp.
    Or
render to a higher framerate (eg. 35fps), re-import and comform to your original framerate (25 for PAL) this would slow it down to 35/25 = 140%.

If the quality is set to high, it is anti-aliased.

But I always add a Gaussian Blur of 0.25 – 0.75 px. to every text-layer
This gets rid of the movement-flicker.

And also an adjustment-layer on top of the comp with a vertical blur to kill detail-flickering.

Of course don’t use a font with too much detail like fine serifs or scripts.

Most really good compressed Sorenson movie, don’t use the standard compressor in Quicktime, but use the pro version you have to buy.

BTW: best to continue/re-start this discussion in the compression forum.

If it’s the horizontal lines in the tiles flickering, then its’ because they’re less than 1 pixel high, so they’re present on only 1 of the two fields.
When you slow down, you see the two fields one by one,

you might try setting ‘preserve edges’ in the interpret footage dialog, but that doesn’t always work that good.

Maybe map the text as texture on a CC sphere or CC cylinder effect ?

Serge has a tutorial somewhere whit text coming around a-planet like the universal studios animated logo.

Try searching for “cc cylinder” and “text” in the archives, or perhaps “universal planet”
