I’m not sure what the exact terminology is. I’ve got some text flying onscreen in a 10 frame animation, keyframing position. Over the next 5 seconds, I want it to slowly continue to move in the same direction, so I go to the end and set another keyframe. You know, giving it that “quick fly onscreen and slow down” look. And lo and behold it starts out fine moving to the right, drifts BACK left then right. For the last time, how do you solve this problem????? I’ve tried every keframe interpolation combination, i’ve done post searches, HELP!!!!

    Hi,

activate the keyframe, where it starts to move left… zoom into your composition window.
You should see the bezier curve of your animated position. Click on your bezier handle and straighten out your position curve…
sometimes the curve get’s all messed up, when you add keyframes….

It sounds like in your case, you could also solve it by setting the position-interpolation to linear.
