I’m sorry to say that, but I don’t know another way to make it but frame by frame, if the background is kind of brighter or darker you can use luma key, maybe it helps…

  • Hi.
Well, I think you don’t have to go back to Photoshop, with you animation comp open click “Ctrl + K” to change the comp size and set the new size.

Or drag this animation comp into another bigger comp and animate it as you wish.

I think it’s what you need.
If I’m wrong, please let me know.

    Yes, he’s right.
Trapcode particular has made a great job at this plugin, If you don’t have it yet go to http://www.trapcode.com and take a look at it, there are video tutorials that will show you how to make it.
But if you cannot afford it, you can use “Particles playground” from After effects, create a mask the shape you want the particles to go and at “Wall- bondary” select the mask as a path, it’s not so realistic as trapcode particular but…

  • Actually it’s very easy, just click the “Collapse transformations” botton at Comp B. It’s the first bottom after “Shy layer”.
It will make you avi file look good. If you have Adobe Illustrator, any file from it will be perfectly sharp at any size if you turn this bottom on.

Well, I think the most usefull in this case is the 3D, but you don’t want it…
So you will have to animate the positon and scale to simulate a rotation,
But tell me why not to use 3D if it’s the easiest way to to it????

Just make your bottles always look at the camera and rotate them in the top view, it will surely work…

    Hi there

If the effect you want to create is the one I’m thinking, you just have to apply the plug in Starglow from http://www.trapcode.com and change the color to white.

Take a look at the site, there is an example of water reflection…

  • Amazing effect, but since it’s a very complex comp with expressions (I think most After Effects users are designers, not programmers) wouldn’t it be better explained with a video turorial?

Forgive me if it sounds dumb, but I really learn much better with videos…
    Anyway, great work.
