  • scaling and cameras between comps – quality lost?

so have have composition a wich is a newspaper pic – in this comp i have an avi file scaled down to fit a picture in the newspaper (like in the newspaper it playes the image). than i put this comp in comp B. In composition B i used the Z axis of my camera to go to the newspaper live-pic … so now it fit’s the screen again … than i move with th Z- axis outof the pic to show the newspaper and move to an other article.

so the question is … will i loose alot of quality by this? for my avi file … cause it is scaled down in the first comp but then blown up by using camera in the second comp …

also i know it’s a little strange way to do this trick but it has become a complicated project and it looked like this was the best way to do it easy.

    thanks for help.

Actually it’s very easy, just click the “Collapse transformations” botton at Comp B. It’s the first bottom after “Shy layer”.
It will make you avi file look good. If you have Adobe Illustrator, any file from it will be perfectly sharp at any size if you turn this bottom on.

    Big hugs from Brazil
