How can i do that?

I want to ask if it is possible to align particles along a path. If yes can you tell me how? like some quick tutorial?

May 31, 2006 at 6:39 amIs it me, I don’t quite remember and I’m too lazy to go check, but I think this feature is in Trapcode Particular 1.5 (upgrade). I remember seing something like this.

Trapcode particular has made a great job at this plugin, If you don’t have it yet go to http://www.trapcode.com and take a look at it, there are video tutorials that will show you how to make it.
But if you cannot afford it, you can use “Particles playground” from After effects, create a mask the shape you want the particles to go and at “Wall- bondary” select the mask as a path, it’s not so realistic as trapcode particular but… -

May 31, 2006 at 4:11 pmWith Particle Playground, you should look into the particle emitter’s position, the use of a Wall (using a closed mask shape), gravity and Kinetic Friction (under persistent property mapper).
