Apply Keylight to the file you want this effect, then to to “Source crops” the last option of the plugin, then change the values of “Left, right, bottom or top”…

In Photoshop CS2 create a new empty layer and merge it to the layer with the shadow. Save it and open it in After Effects…
It should work, it does work with any blending effects.
I’d love to help you, but I’ve searched for it too and I couldn’t find how to link anything to the “angle button” on Encore DVD, and I haven’t heard about a program that supports it. I am also interested on it.
