May 2, 2006 at 3:17 pmYou can link a button to a chapter/timeline/slideshow/chapter playlist, etc. with a subtitle. But you can’t link a button to a subtitle alone (subtitles are always over video from chapter/timeline, etc.)

Do you know how to make a DVD that we could select the subtitles and audio track, from a language menu? Is it possible on Encore DVD?

May 2, 2006 at 7:26 pmYes, you can create a menu that allows you to choose audio and subtitle tracks, and then link to the tracks you want by using the Specify Link dialog (available from the Link popup menu in the Button properties).

May 2, 2006 at 7:57 pmOk, I did it, but I have 3 different subtitle tracks…
How would I create 3 different links to the same v -

May 2, 2006 at 8:52 pmYou would create 3 different buttons, each linking to the timeline, but linking to a different subtitle track. The single timeline would contain all your subtitle tracks. Then in the properties panel you would choose “specify other” and set the desired links.
I don’t want to be overly rude but this is all covered in the manual under subtitles and button linking.
