Thanks!!! I never saw that in Vegas and I have been using this program since 2008! Somehow it never got turned off before and somehow even more amazingly I don’t ever recall seeing it under the “view” tab. A thousand thank yous!

Yes George, I am using the normal edit tool. Ripple would usually be off in this situation but the preview windows should show trimming visual feedback with it on as well.

No unfortunately, this did not help my problem. Still stumped. Works on other versions of Vegas but not 13 so it must be either a setting or a problem with the install of Vegas13?

One of the things I really like about VP13 is that I can open the files in VP12 also. There are times where this has saved me with a problem project file. I was hopeful that VP14 would retain backwards capability with at least VP13 but that didn’t happen.

I just wanted to say that I have to deliver spots and programming for broadcast and I use the exact method you describe. Didn’t realize I was a po folk though. 🙂
So far, I haven’t received any complaints.Erik

Fade to color is a very strange name indeed. I use it for fade to black but you could fade to the color of your choice. You set the keyframes and away you go.
