There isn’t enough sound level on the clip to make a judgement call. Try re-posting with the gain raised.

Try backing the mic a few inches away from the person speaking and aim the mic at their forehead if you’re booming from overhead.

The Rode NTG 3 is a very good choice. Be sure your camera can provide 48v phantom power to the NTG 3 and has XLR female input audio connectors.

Remember that a time code signal is square wave audio not video. You can split it just as if it was a standard audio signal. From the TC out BNC connector on the F8 you can use any number of BNC splitters/adapters with no problem. You may need a TC amplifier to keep the TC signal at optimum level.

The RX 200 is a 2 channel receiver meaning that you can send 2 independent signals from 2 Zaxcom transmitters in the same frequency block to it. That’s why it has a five pin 2 channel output connector going to 2 XLR-M connectors. Surprised your sales person did not mention this feature to you.

Do not overlook the Countryman line of lav mics. There’s the EMW, B3 & the ultra mini B6. All are available with any connector you need. BTW: The OST or Oscar Sound Tech mics are available from any of the many Pro dealers.

The 3 pin Lemo is a very small connector and wiring it for Zax transmitters is not for the novice. That said there are many lav mics that will do the job for you. DME is the Dialog, Music, Effects track. They might want those tracks to do a remix for whatever reason.

A duplex mic cable will do the job. It’s a 2 pair cable with one pair for the mic signal going to the mixer and the other pair for the HP return from the mixer. A small passive 2 connector box connects the mic & the headphone return, the box should have a belt clip for the boom op to wear on their belt. Both the mic & headphones get connected to the box.
The other end of the cable connects to an input of the mixer and the HP output on the mixer. If there’s only one HP connection on the mixer then a HP splitter cable is required for both people to hear the signal.
