For me, the final frame is usually a set of logos or of a different text layer.

I usually keep that separate and keyframe to my desire.

You can add a track and apply a solid under the credit clip.

I can only do this using the Mask option in Radio Waves.

But you have to keyframe the mask over time.

The Apple USB-A to USC-C converter sucks with the new M1s.

We’ve been having issues with all of our older USB drives.

Get a solid cable with no converter or buy a USB-C drive.

Technically it’s NTSC 720×480.

My workflow in the past is to always render to the project size and use Adobe Media Encoder or whatever DVD authoring app that allows recoding.

Toast will do this for you from any size and downsize it to DVD.

Of course, you have to adhere to the aspect ratio.

So in my case I have to allow the bars to exist 😛

Chances are it’s your Adobe/Apple combo.
We are running 6 new 2022 MacBook Pro M1 Pros with the latest After Effects and it’s been stable with this version from Adobe.

This is not the case when using numerous flavors of OS/Adobe versions across iMacs, Mac Pro 2013s, and 2019s.

That’s more of a gamble of late.

I’ve had to do this many times.
I use the evaporate for the letters I don’t want.

I use the sleight of hand trick where you use the whole word and then animate in the final characters.

So many different options to do this.
