I would suggest star wipes but I think that’s there already 🙂

Currently testing the Magic Trackpad with MacBook Pro 2009 (late uni) and FCP 6.x.
I can get the scrub to work but Next/Prev edit and Home/End dont work?

    Thanks Jon and Daniel.
I had an inkling that I would have to start treating this like Web authoring. My failure was that I didnt use the Adobe layer naming convention and just used a basic PSD layer file.
    Thanks again 🙂

Its February 2011, is this still an issue?
We got around this by using MainConcept MPEG Encoder.
It only works for us since 99% of our output is for Digital Signage MPG2. However at times (which is today) I need to export an Uncompressed Quicktime from After Effects CS5.
    Seriously is this fixed yet?

    Wow that I didnt know.
What about rendering too local drive?
The original docs and resources are on the network, would that be the problem too?
    Should I move everything locally?
Im going to test this on Windows 7 CS5 station too.

    Just did another test.
It looks like an issue with file size.
Ive been testing with a 40 sec comp that renders past 2GB.
I used the same comp but blocked it down to a file at 600mb.
The file opened with no errors.

I was testing the capabilities of CS5 and found a link on turning on the 64bit. If Adobe had sent me your link then I would have listened 🙂
This is not just a network issue. The same CS5 will not render to desktop. The QT gets created but when you try to open or import into another app, it states that its not a movie file.
Ive been rendering for the last few years to QT none compression.
We’ve been doing the same set-up since CS2 over the network.
Its a XServe G5 running Leopard Server.
