Anyone using a Quadro 4800 as GUI and Quadro 4000 as CUDA?

    Oops not that thread 🙂

Well success Marcin thanks to you 🙂
I might have missed a tiny step with selecting the clips then sequence last.
I thought it was the “use prefix, suffix…” checked on causing the problem but Ill double check again with prev files.
It was worth banging my head on the desk for two days 🙂

    Thanks again!

Thanks Rohit, can you elaborate a little?
If RED do you mean using RED clips in Resolve then at Render set that option? I thought Ive tried everything even adding that _001 to the rendered file and still Avid refuses.
Ive posted this question on here and REDUser concerning Avid AAF Round tripping.

I too am looking for a way back whether it “linked” or not.
Anything Ive rendered in Resolve 8 to MXF is not recognized by Avids file systems.
has anyone managed to see an Resolve MXF in their bins?

    Thanks Marcin for the reply.
I might have gone the wrong route out of Avid.
The files are AMA linked to R3D data sitting in a folder top root of the Avid media drive.
I didnt transcode or consolidate (you cant with R3D).
Took two simple clips and added a crossover for the test.
    Exported as AAF.
Brought into Resolve and quickly re-linked the R3D to another version sitting on a diff drive/worsktation (this is the workflow we want to work for us).
Did some quick Power Windows and CC.
Then rendered using Source > render clip with unique file name.
Now it rendered the MXF filename almost exact as original R3D with the exception that the original R3D had numerical digits at the end of the name.
The amount of characters stop at 10 and these R3D are 20 characters long.
I sure hope thats not the problem.

Tried the ALE route for the first time.
So far all I can do is crash the ALE app trying to convert the exported ALE file from Resolve.
