Just trashed old MC, Adobe CS, and a slew of misc software (boxes and media) in the recycling bin carefully handled of course 🙂
but I will never part with my Alias, Softimage and original COSA After Effects boxes 😉

Im not sure if this is what your trying to do but are you wanting to place keywords on Event Browser clips? Doesnt this create Keyword events within the parent Event?
I use that all the time as a faux sub-clip.
Works like a charm 🙂
And yes you can make as many keywords as you wish.

I am not surprised some of you are finding the GUI a bit off.
I thought by this version it would have been overhauled but it hasn’t.
Part of the problem with some users and Autodesk or anything that lingered from the old SGI days.
When I find time, Ill check it out again.

I do believe you apply the same crop across multiple selections in a timeline. I know you can with basic transforms.
No where hear FCPX at the moment to prove this.

most of the flat 2d art can be done using animated masks.
you can even use the basic transitions to get the same effect on most of the reveal.
