June 11, 2012 at 6:57 pmI missed the keynote (I’m actually taking a week off) and was wondering if they announced new towers or not?
If they did – details!
If not – please do not go to any tall buildings today, you will be fine.Dennis

June 11, 2012 at 7:05 pmDon’t worry, all you have to do is ask Siri to do all your editing, compositing and effects and the iPhone pops it right out.

June 11, 2012 at 7:09 pmNot too surprised but I feel bad for the people who really wanted a new tower, especially after wet knicker mania set in when the rumor mill opened the floodgates last week.
I overflew the event ticker, seems crystal clear where they are heading. All mobile is what Apple wants to be.
Bold prediction: all mobile they will be within the next three years.——

June 11, 2012 at 7:10 pmI don’t recall the last mini update being in a keynote either. If we do see something when the store comes up, then it’s probably fair to compare a mp update to the relevance of a mini update to apple.

June 11, 2012 at 7:11 pmThe store is still down, but if you go to the Mac Pro page, you’ll notice a quad core for $2499 and a 12-core model for now only $3799.. so… it’s not “dead.”

That’s far too much for tech that is two years old.

June 11, 2012 at 7:14 pmIf this is just a processor update with the addition of USB3 and maybe Tbolt, it’s not enough to warrant a slot in the Keynote. Especially is there’s no physical design of the tower. Keep an eye on the Store.
