  • I think the problem is that your looking at your disc in the simulator. Apples simulator reacts much differently than an actual disc.

I know the problem your refering to but it will go away when you burn a disc.

Just like most authoring apps you can use different colors or greyscales to effect your active, selection or normal states. The work you need to do is in photoshop or illstrator.

BTW…Sonic doesn’t have the best support in the world but Im sure someone can help you out there since youve spent tens of thousands of dollars for this authoring platform…right?

Also the most common reason players skip is beacuse high bitrates. Can you think of re-doing the job and take note of the bitrate your using? Ask question hear any others will be glad to help out.

DVD recordable do have lower compatilbilty issues (no way to get around this) but if you watch your bitarte should should be fine

Do a google on DVD services in your area. Where do you live? If your near a good size city it won’t be hard to find 🙂

By far the best authoring app(for PCs) with the most functions without having to pay up the nose would be this:

    https://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/dvdlabpro.html

Its has a larger learning curve but has alot of flexability.

never used Encore but my friend loves it. Also Procoder is a great encoder I use it on my PC then author in DVDSP

You could add the MPEG-4 files in a seperate folder and include as ROM data next to the TS folder

  • The sector size of a DVD-R is not large enough to accompany CSS info from your authoring app. You must deliver on DLT

  • It all depends how long you video is. What was your bitrate? Compressor is not the greatest encoder in the world but it sure save ALOT of time when used with FCP and DVDSP.

DVD Studio Pro will burn HD-DVDs but you only be able to play them on a G5. HD-DVD is pretty much 🙂 something of the future at this point.
